Metro Worship
Next Metro Worship: December 15, Christmas Party!!
Where: Bow Valley Baptist Church, 54 West Aarsby Road, Cochrane
When: December 15, 2007 at 7pm
What: Carols, Food, Games, Friends
Who: You, your friends, your relatives, your neighbours, co-workers, classmates, random strangers that you meet on the bus, etc. ... and the rest of CCMN.
Why: Do you really need to ask?
What to bring: Your favorite Christmas-themed snack or dessert, board/group games, and a pair of socks of gloves (for the Mustard Seed).
Dress: Semi-Formal
Metro Worship happens twice a semester at various churches in Calgary and Cochrane and is put on by the Chinook Collegiate Ministry Network (CCMN). The CCMN is a network of church based collegiate ministries and college & university based collegiate ministries from the Calgary community. Churches, Chaplaincies, the Cochrane Southern Baptist Seminary and Baptist Student Ministries have united to provide worship, ministry opportunities, missions opportunities and student training for students from all the post-secondary institutions in Calgary.
Weekly Events
Bible Study
Mondays from 1-1:50pm in the Chaplain's Center, Room 373. We will be seeking to help you to discover God's will for your life.

Weekly Prayer Meeting
Wednesdays from 3-4pm in the Chaplain's Center, Room 373.
We also support a "prayer partners" ministry and encourage individuals to come to God in prayer each day.
"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened."
(Luke 11:9-10)
Soul Cafe
Fridays 12 noon in the Council Chambers. Starting date will be announced.
Come for a FREE lunch provided by the Chaplains
Centre as part of a new multi-faith group called Soul Friends. The
group is designed for students to explore faith (& faiths) with this
lunch time being the central meeting. This is a great opportunity to
share faith in Christ with fellow students.
Missions
Canadian BSM students are needed to serve as missionaries!! Check out the Student Missions page to see all the opportunities to Serve the Lord!!
Student Mission Opportunities
National and Regional Conferences
Each year our BSM participates in a Prairies regional conference in February and in a National Student Week in May.
