INTERACTION WITH INDUSTRY The research activities of the Biofilm Research Group are directed towards those developments which are pertinent to corporate and industrial requirements. Contract Research The Biofilm Research Group provides specific confidential applied contract research through negotiated University of Calgary contracts, and patent/license protection through University Technologies International Inc. (UTI). GLP Studies The Biofilm Research Group is equipped to perform in vitro and laboratory studies according to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to meet requirements of regulatory agencies. Our quality assurance officer will over see all GLP studies. Corporate Sponsorship Sponsorship supports fundamental research in biofilm formation, evolution, and elimination.
