This site doesn't provide a complete list of awards, but does give you the chance to sample some of the recent Newbery Medal and Honor books. This is also a good site for information on the criteria and procedures for awarding the Newbery Medal.

Newbery and Caldecott Winners, 1985-1994
This appears to have been done as a Library Science project, and it doesn't look like it is being updated, but for the years covered it provides scanned book-jackets, summaries of the winning books, and some biographical information. A nice exploration of the potential of the Web.
