A variety of discussion formats were used in this course: a) an open format in which everybody could participate, b) a small group format in which students were split into separate discussion groups, c) panel discussion with guest speaker(s), d) classic debate, and e) round robin in which everybody takes turns contributing. Please comment on the discussion format(s) that you believe worked best, and those that did not.

Comment on whether you believe the course materials taught a) specific skills and knowledge, or b) served to stimulate discussion and debate of relevant issues to foster an understanding of the use of technology as a thinking tool?
