Sketch
Deyi Xue received his Ph.D. and
M.Sc. degrees from Department
of Precision Machinery Engineering at The
University of Tokyo in 1992 and 1989 respectively, and his B.Sc. degree
from Department of
Precision Instrument Engineering at Tianjin University in 1985. He
worked as a Research Associate of Department
of Mechanical Engineering at University of
Victoria from 1992 to 1995. He is currently a Full Professor of Department of Mechanical and
Manufacturing Engineering at University of
Calgary. He is a Member of American Society
of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) , a Senior Member
of Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) ,
and an Overseas Member of Information
Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ). He is also a Professional Engineer of Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists
and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA).
