I am a professor and Canada Research Chair in Primatology and Bioanthropology at the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I am also the past Executive Editor of the American Journal of Primatology and a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. My areas of interest include the social structure, sex differences, reproduction, behavioural ecology, and conservation of Costa Rican and Japanese monkeys.
