The Division of Gastroenterology includes all university-affiliated and private practice gastroenterologists in the Calgary Health Region. The Division is dedicated to excellence in patient care, research and education. |

The Division maintains an active educational program including weekly clinical education rounds and a monthly Divisional Lecture Series and City-wide rounds.
Several weekend meetings are held each year, including the Western Canada IBD Symposium, GI Emergencies Course, Post DDW Review, Alberta Society of Gastroenterology Annual Meeting and the GI Research Group Retreat.

| Apart from the Royal College accredited gastroenterology training program, the Division also offers 1 - 2 year programs in therapeutic endoscopy and hepatology. |
