GENERAL STATEMENTS:

In previous years there have been reports of thefts from climbers vehicles in the Canadian Rockies. The thieves prefer victims that are likely to be away for a few hours, and have been known not only to take climbing equipment but also search out credit cards from wallets hidden under carpet in the back of vehicles. Note they do not tend to take the wallet, JUST THE CARDS. Therefore do not leave ANY WALLETS OR CLIMBING EQUIPMENT etc. in your vehicles, TAKE IT WITH YOU !
