Standing Events:

[Coffee Nights]
As per usual, the Coffee Nights which ran during the summer will continue into the Fall Semester. Each Tuesday we meet at the Second Cup in Kensington right off the train line at Sunnyside Station -- (338 10 St NW). It's an informal meeting of a growing collective of fun people who just like to get together, chat, and have a good time.

We often transition at approximately 9:30pm to Original Joe's in Kensington (1220 Kensington Road NW) for food and drinks if you'd like to come later.

Upcoming QCampus Events:

[Same Sex Speed Dating]

On October 7th, in Casio A/B of the Student Conference area, we will be holding our same sex speed dating event!

For those of you just looking to meet friends, or for something more, come on out to this event! The event will begin at 7:00pm, however we ask that everyone arrive between 6:30pm and 7:00pm, as to ensure a smooth start.

This event will be restricted to students only, and requires a club membership. Refreshments will be served. Send us an email containing your name, and the gender you would like to meet at qcampus@ucalgary.ca in advance, to ensure a place for yourself at this event!

Events in the Works!:

[A LGBTQ-friendly reading of the Bible]

Tired of having those same old Bible verses thrown at you by religious fundamentalists? Reverend Tim of the Multi-faith Chaplains Center has the answer for you! Come join us for a reading of all those verses in a different light. Contrary to popular belief, the Bible is not infallible, and many, many interpretations exist, especially those surrounding these very charged verses used often to discriminate against LGBTQ persons.

[Sex Toy Party!]

As a club centered around sexual identity, we wouldn't be doing our job if we weren't informative about all aspects of sex. Come join us down at "A Little More Interesting", a sex shop that prides itself in rising above the competition in terms of class, and cleanliness. If you are tired of searching around sleazy sex shops for ways to spice up your love life, this event is for you! There is no obligation to purchase items during or after the presentation, however club members receive a discount.

There are a couple more events still in the initial planning phases but
keep your eyes open in the future for a Queers on Campus Costume Party and
Move Night - Round 2!
