The following texts have been made available via the WWW for students of Ancient History at the University of Calgary. They are divided into groups relevant to the different ancient history courses offered by the Department of Greek, Latin and Ancient History. In general, the texts are either complete or represent large sections of sources, with internal links between different portions in the documents themselves; if segments of the document are assigned in different weeks of the teaching term, this will be noted in the schedule of classes for that course. The links to courses represent the home pages for these courses and will only be active when the course is offered; the texts, however (server space permitting), will always be available. The translations, except where otherwise noted, are available in public electronic text archives; a few that are in some way restricted have been placed on another server available only at the University of Calgary (including dial-in access). I have prepared the HTML versions and placed them here primarily for students in courses that I teach, though this site may, in the future, expand to include texts for other courses. Usually, I list the source of the text as well as other HTML versions, if I know of any. They may be used by individuals for any legitimate educational purpose.
