自宅駐車◇じたくちゅうしゃ (Parking at one's own house)
One should know that this is not the car of an unexpected visitor, but rather the vehicle of the owner of the apartment. If you walk by this building every day, you may be really amazed by the parking skill of the driver.

Anyone who plans to own a car, among other conditions, must obtain permission from the local police office and prove that an available parking space exists. A police officer may pay a visit to the site, and measure it as a practical matter. One can also show a contract for the rental of a parking spot within a certain distance of the house. In the case of Tokyo, that distance is 2 km (one-line distance).
