Registration and Payment

Please fill out and submit the online meeting registration form here, and pay your registraion fee by one of the methods below.

Both the registration form AND fees MUST BE RECEIVED by the indicated dates below.

Academic/Non-profit Rates:

$840 CAD by Dec 1, 2016 (Early Bird Registration is CLOSED);

$940 CAD by March 1, 2017 (Regular Registration is CLOSED);

$1040 CAD by April 1, 2017 (Late Registration).

Corporate Rate: $1100 CAD by April 1, 2017.

The registration fee includes use of the facilities (campus WIFI, fitness and recreation facilities, parking, library, and phone calls across North America), coffee breaks, welcome reception (Sunday), lunch and dinners (except on Tuesday), banquet ticket, and abstract book. Breakfasts are not included, but are available on the Banff Centre campus or at local restaurants. Accomodations are not included. Extra banquet tickets for guests may be available for purchase at the meeting depending on availability.

Registration Fee payment may be made by one of the following methods. Please contact us immediately if there are any problems with online payment. You will not be registered until your payment is processed AND you have submitted the online registration form. Confirmation of registration and payment will be sent by email.

1. If you have a Canadian or U.S. bank account, you may send a check payable to POMBE2017- use the currency converter above if you are paying in USD, and mail or courier to POMBE2017 c/o Dr. Dallan Young, 4327 Vauxhall Cr NW, Calgary, AB, T3A 0H8, Canada. Or, if you have a Canadian bank account, you may make an online Interac e-transfer from your account to POMBE2017 at; send the answer to your security question by email.


2. offers the ability to make online payments directly from your personal bank account in the currencies listed below to our Canadian account with very low fees and currency exchange rates. In some countries you may also be able to use your debit or credit card to transfer funds via Transferwise (it will be an option at the last step if it is allowed). We will accept transfers initiated by the deadline dates.

---If you are paying the Academic Rate registration fee with any of these currencies (GBP, EUR, CHF, PLN, HUF, CZK, BGN, RON), then you may click here and make the requested transfer.
---If you are paying the Academic Rate with any of these currencies (JPY, AUD, SEK, NOK, DKK, BRL, SGD, NZD), then follow the instructions here to make the transfer.
---If you are paying the Corporate Rate from any of the supported currencies listed above, then follow the instructions here to make the transfer.


3. Select the Academic or Corporate Rate below, and click on the Buy Now button to pay by credit card or PayPal account transfer. After clicking the Buy Now button, you may sign into your Paypal account if you have one. However, you DO NOT need a PayPal account for credit card payments; you may choose the button "Pay with Credit Card or Visa Debit". Your payments will be subject to a currency conversion fee (unless you are paying in CAD), and you will be given a choice to allow Paypal or your credit card company to convert your currency to CAD.

REFUNDS: 85% of registration fees (minus processing and currency exchange fees) will be refunded if requested by April 1- please send an email to Afterwards, any refunds are not guaranteed and depend on funds available. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please send a request as soon as possible. All refunds are subject to verification, and may take up to 60 days to be processed following verification.
