Gail Kopp is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at
the University of Calgary. Previous careers have ranged from public
school teacher to educational software developer and private consultant.
She has over 20 years of experience in instructional design for industry
and aerospace, including 8 years working with the Canadian Space Agency.
Now working in the Educational Technology Specialization, her interests
are instructional design, virtual reality and simulation. Current
research projects involve training surgeons for robotic neurosurgery
and virtual 3D environments for online high-school students.
